A house that took its time.

A restored 1890s townhouse in Savannah's Historic District, with twelve rooms and no hurry.

A quiet Savannah street lined with oaks and brick townhouses
A wrought-iron balcony with a green awning above a columned porch

It began as a family townhouse and stayed a house. Twelve rooms, because that is how many we can look after properly.

We restored the heart pine floors, the plaster and the tall windows, then added what a long weekend needs: good linen, a deep tub, a porch worth sitting on. The rest, we left alone.

How we keep house

Slow by design

Breakfast until eleven. Checkout when the day allows. We would rather you stay for one more coffee than make a train.

Rooted in Savannah

We send you to the bakery two streets over, the bookshop with the cat, the bench we like best. We buy from neighbors when we can.

Small enough to know you

With twelve rooms, we remember how you take your coffee and which window you asked for last time.

The people behind the door

  • Eleanor Voss

    Innkeeper

Grew up two streets away. Knows which floorboard creaks and has stopped fixing it.

  • Marcus Bell

    Breakfast

Bakes the biscuits at five and will tell you, gently, to have a second one.

  • Tomás Rivera

    Concierge

Finds the table, the carriage, and the quiet corner of the park nobody mentions.

Fictional team, written for this concept project.

What the house offers

  • Breakfast on the porch

Hot, local and unhurried, served until 11. Included when you book direct.

  • Sweet tea at six

A pour of sweet tea or a glass of something cold on the veranda each evening.

  • Linen, always

Heavy linen sheets, wool blankets and blackout shades in every room.

  • House bicycles

Four cruisers with baskets, for the flat, shady streets of the squares.

  • Dogs welcome

Two ground-floor rooms are pet-friendly. Please ask when you reserve.

  • Off-street parking

Six spaces behind the house, first come, first served.

  • A concierge who knows

Tables, carriage tours and the quiet places that are not on the map.

  • Fast Wi-Fi

Strong signal in every room and on the porch. We hope you barely use it.
